Really lovely glamping site in the gorgeous peaceful countryside with local shops (lovely shop owner who grabbed everything I needed as I didn't want to leave the dog alone) and pub right on your door step which supplies a cheeky takeaway if you don't feel like cooking and great to walk back after a cheeky few :)! Child friendly and dog friendly site which is always nice. WiFi worked really well. Facilities were beautiful and the shower was like walking into a water fall. Denise (owner) also instructed me that there was a toilet/ shower allocated to each Dome/Yurt. Fantastic idea especially with Covid restrictions and that made us feel very comfortable. The washing up area was very clean and well equipped. Lovely seating areas outside and brilliant kitchen (shed) to cook your meals with everything major provided. Shame about the weather as rained none stop but the lovely owners of the site went straight out to get us some wood and brought it up to the Dome so we could keep a warm fire going. The Dome was so cosey and we stayed very warm all night. Thank you so much had a fab time, felt well informed of everything and was always asked if seen if everything was ok. I will definitely be coming again. Friends are already trying to book. :)

"On arrival, everything was ready all we needed to do was put our bags in. We were made to feel very welcome. Our Yurt Merlin was fantastic loads of room the bed was very comfortable and once you got the wood burner going warm as toast also a great space for your furry friends. The views were fantastic over the countryside almost made you sit and relax there all day without going out.The little shop a couple of yards just down the road had everything you could want also a garage not far away, the pub very friendly good banter a great place to enjoy a beer or two and a bonus had an Indian restaurant attached great food all very highly recommended. In summary fantastic Glamping site and amenities around all very friendly just couldn't do enough to make your stay memorable.A great big thanks to everyone and will definitely be back. (If we can get booked in)"

"This our second visit to the campsite. This place is so amazing we absolutely love it. We stayed in the Yurt Merlin as we find has all the comforts needed for a brilliant time, the bed is so cosy and the wood burner keeps the Yurt lovely and warm. We have stayed during the Autumn and in the summer both times the stay was top class. The views from the tent are to die for and the staff are so friendly and accommodating.
Tips for other travellers
There is a local pub at the bottom of the hill (2 minutes walk) The staff at the pub are really friendly, as are the locals, both times we have stayed at Greenacres we have had such a good time at the pub. There is a local convenience store opposite the pub which is open until 8 every evening and has pretty much everything you might need. The forest of Dean is a short drive away and great if you take your pushbikes"
